Template report creation starts with the process of installing the Infoveave plugin to your MS office tools such as Microsoft Wors, Power Point, or Excel.
Install Infoveave Plugin
- Open your Microsoft Power Point and start with a fresh page.
- Click on Get Add-ins in the Add-ins group located on the right side of the Home page.
- Click on More Add-ins to access the Microsoft Office store.
- Search for “Infoveave” and click on Add to install the plugin.
- Access the Infoveave plugin under the Insert option of your MS Office tool.
Connect with Infoveave
Connecting Microsoft Word to Infoveave enables you to access your Infoveave account directly from Word. This connection is necessary to import widgets and dashboards from Infoveave into your report. Follow the below steps to link the Power Point with Infoveave.
- Click on the installed Infoveave plugin under the MS office tool Insert option. This action will open the Infoveave login form, on the right side of the screen.
- In the Infoveave Instance field, enter your Infoveave instance.
- Your Infoveave instance would be “YourName.infoveave.net,” where “YourName” represents the tenant name.
- Enter your Username or Email in the corresponding field.
- Enter your Password in the appropriate field.
- Click the Login button to log into your Infoveave account.
- After logging in, you will see the options: Insert Infoboard, and Insert Widget. Let us choose the option Insert Infoboard.
Insert Infoboard
Inserting the Sales Performance Dashboard Infoboard into the report, presents the key sales metrics (KPIs) and trends in a visually appealing format.
- Click on Insert Infoboard and select the “Sales” Infoboard from the list.
- Select the date range for the Infoboard.

- Navigate to Reports under Studio Module
- Click on New Report. It opens up the upload report dialog box.
- Give a name your Report.
- Choose the report from your local storage location in the file picker dialog.
- Click Save to save the report in Infoveave.
